WELCOME TO ARK HOUSE

For over 40 years Ark House, an all-volunteer organization, has provided temporary, low cost housing to thousands of seriously ill patients and their families who must come to Dallas to receive medical care no available near their permanent home. Ark House is a mission of the First United Methodist Church of Richardson (TX) operating as “Ark House”. (See Quick Facts PDF)

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and volunteers, we are able to offer fully furnished apartment rentals to individuals and their families who live more than 50 miles from Dallas, and must spend anywhere from 7-90 days undergoing treatment at some of our city’s world-class medical facilities.

Our goal is to provide a restful haven that has many of the comforts of home.

Ark House is NOT available to the general public! Referrals are ONLY accepted from a licensed staff member at the Dallas metroplex hospital where active treatment is being received the is NOT available near the prospective occupant’s permanent home.
